Crossroads Weekly Newsletter Message

April 5, 2007

Is everybody sick with Spring Fever? Staring longingly out the window while you type/attend meetings/make cold calls to (future) customers? Playing hooky or playing with your kids in parks? This is the best time to be in Portland, when it’s not too hot and not too cold, and not too rainy to boot!

If you have any pictures you want to share on the Crossroads blog, send them to me and I’ll upload them. And if you have anything else you want to share, just post a comment. The Blog is only as good as its Bloggers….

The conference will begin with a dinner on Thursday, April 26. The keynote in our worship services on April 28/29 will be Mark DeYmaz from Mosaic church in Arkansas. Down in the gym will be a ministry fair.

Each ministry area is being asked to put together a booth that will
highlight their area and also opportunities for service in that area. Stay tuned for more information….

Pastor and Mrs. Soo Young Lee's Goodbye Potluck

Last Saturday Sean and Joori Kim hosted a potluck at their house for Pastor and Mrs. Soo Young Lee. The Lees are about to embark on a long-term mission to Africa, and many of the people impacted by the vision and personal attention of the Lees came to reminisce and share how they were touched by the Lees. Good food was enjoyed by all, and it was amazing to see all the kids! A few pictures below, compliments of Sean and Joori. Thank you Sean and Joori for opening your lovely home to host this occasion.

Christmas Party at Willard and Karen's

It was good to see friends old and new at our annual Christmas party. Most memorable were all the kids at the party; it seems that God has blessed Crossroads with so many beautiful boys and girls, all of whom have extremely healthy lungs and vocal chords!

We hope your 2007 has started out great and continues to be so as we celebrate the Chinese New Year (Golden Year of the Pig). God Bless everyone!

Welcome!

Hi Everybody: Well, it was bound to happen. They say a new one is created every second or so. And that fewer than 1 in a thousand or so is ever read by anyone. We'll make sure that's not the case for...
